Call for Recognition!

As we look ahead to the Fall, the ISPI Michigan chapter is pleased to announce that our Annual Celebration Event will be on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at a very special venue. So mark the date on your calendars.

Great food, an inspiring speaker, the opportunity to network with colleagues, and the chance to recognize our members who have made outstanding contributions to the field of Human Performance Technology make this an event that you do not want to miss.

A large part of the evening will be recognizing and showing our appreciation for colleagues who have made a difference this past year; therefore, we are asking for your help in identifying these people. (Self-identification is welcome.)

Recognition is a:

• Member service of ISPI Michigan
• Source of credibility for members
• Celebration of members and their accomplishments
• Monetary award

The categories of recognitions are for members who:

• Present at ISPI conferences
• Publish articles and/or books
• Receive national awards
• Make significant contributions to ISPI at the International or local levels

The criteria are:

• Member of ISPI Michigan in good standing
• Significant contribution
• Peer or other recognition
• Contribution made during past year (November 2007 and forward)

All too often, we are not aware of what our colleagues are doing right next door. This knowledge can serve as an inspiration and a reason to celebrate. So please submit information about people to recognize no later than November 1, 2008 to the VP of Member Services at vpmemberservices@ispimi.org

Please include:

• Name of the person to be recognized
• Contact information for the person to be recognized or person nominating
• Brief description of accomplishment (include title of an article, topic of presentation, audience, etc.)
